Terms of Sanctuary.

Legal agreements should never require a magnifying glass or an anxious breath. Below are the clear, unhurried terms that govern your use of Stillbloom (`stillbloom.space` and the Stillbloom Web Sanctuary).

Article I The Covenant

Welcome to a space of mutual respect.

By accessing `stillbloom.space` or stepping into the Stillbloom application, you enter into a binding agreement with Stillbloom ("we", "us", or "our"). If any part of these terms does not feel aligned with your needs, you may simply close the sanctuary at any time without obligation.

Stillbloom is designed for individuals aged eighteen (18) and older. By creating a sanctuary account, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age and legally able to enter into this agreement.

Article II Non-Clinical Scope

Somatic wellness, not medical treatment.

Stillbloom is a self-guided somatic reflection, breathwork, and mindfulness sanctuary. While our rituals draw inspiration from peer-reviewed neuroscience on affect labeling, vagal toning, and infradian rhythms, Stillbloom is not a healthcare provider, medical device, psychotherapist, or clinical diagnostic service.

Nothing inside Stillbloom should be interpreted as medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or a substitute for professional mental or physical healthcare. Always consult a qualified physician or licensed therapist regarding any medical or mental health condition.

Immediate Crisis Support

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm, please step away from this screen and reach out to human care immediately: in the United States and Canada, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or contact your local emergency services.

Article III Membership & Trial

Transparent billing & one-click freedom.

We believe financial clarity is part of nervous-system safety:

1. Seven-Day Free Trial: New members are invited to experience Stillbloom free for seven (7) days. You will not be charged if you cancel at any point before your seven-day trial concludes.

2. Membership Tiers: Following your trial, your selected membership renews automatically at either $59.99 per year (Annual Sanctuary Circle, selected by default) or $12.99 per month (Monthly Sanctuary), plus applicable local taxes.

3. One-Click Cancellation: You may cancel your trial or subscription in a single click inside your Sanctuary Settings or by writing to us on our Correspondence page. Upon cancellation, your access continues quietly through the end of your current billing period with zero penalty or guilt prompts.

4. The $1 Charity Pledge: From every active paid subscription, Stillbloom designates $1 to vetted nonprofit organizations supporting women's shelter, maternal health, and emotional recovery.

Article IV Ownership & Words

Your words belong exclusively to you.

Every journal reflection, three-word release, and personal note you write inside Stillbloom remains 100% your intellectual and personal property. Because those reflections are stored locally on your own device (IndexedDB) and never transmitted to our servers, we neither claim nor possess any license to read, reproduce, or train artificial intelligence models on your private words.

The Stillbloom name, the Circle of Nine lotus geometry, our custom visual design, self-guided audio frequencies, and editorial essays are protected by copyright and trademark laws and belong to Stillbloom Sanctuary. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the sanctuary for your own private wellbeing.

Article V Stewardship & Liability

Local backups & limitation of liability.

Because Stillbloom is architected as a local-first sanctuary where your raw journal entries reside on your own phone or computer, clearing your browser site data or losing your physical device without exporting a local backup may permanently erase your on-device notes. We provide a one-tap export tool inside the app so you can keep personal backups whenever you wish.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stillbloom provides the sanctuary on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, and our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service shall not exceed the total membership fees you paid to Stillbloom in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
